Ud is my primary instrument I have been learning since I was 12. My father was  my first and only teacher. I am still trying to play like he did.

Basically a short neck fretless lute with 11 strings ( 5 pairs and a single), very common in the Middle Eastern and Arabic music.

Tuned differently in different countries. I usually tune as follows: Fa#-Si-Mi-La-Re-Sol
